PURCHASING ASSISTANT (PROCUREMENT & SUPPLY CHAIN)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing purchase orders (POs) for required goods and services.
- Maintain records of supplier performance, including delivery timelines and product quality.
- Help maintain optimal stock levels by tracking inventory and forecasting future needs.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all purchasing transactions.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve any order discrepancies or delays.
- Assist in creating purchasing reports to track performance and inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or finance
- Experience in a related role but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Willing to do other duties assigned by her superior
