Location: Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, Philippines
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Job Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL and month-end closing.
- Independently manage the book-closing process and prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
- Review accounting entries, reconciliations and financial statements.
- Prepare and handle CIT and VAT filings and other tax compliance matters.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process.
- Prepare cash flow projections, budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor AP/AR aging and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Handle intercompany billing and reconciliation.
- Develop and improve accounting processes, internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Supervise and review the work of Accountants and Junior Accountants.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, shareholders and internal departments.
- Support banking and finance-related activities when required.
- Perform other accounting and finance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
- 5–8 years or more of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Strong experience in month-end closing, tax, CIT and VAT.
- Able to work independently and make appropriate accounting judgments.
- Experience in audit and internal control.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- CPA / ACCA / CA is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Experience in accounting system implementation or migration is an advantage.
- Experience in the Energy, Power or Infrastructure industry is not required.
