Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. This role manages production planning, process improvement, staff supervision, and coordination with other departments to meet company goals and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing operations
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met
- Develop and implement efficient production processes and workflows
- Monitor and control operational costs, budgets, and resource utilization
- Supervise and lead production supervisors, team leaders, and staff
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Coordinate with Procurement, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, HR, and Logistics teams
- Analyze production reports and KPIs; prepare operational performance reports
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Oversee equipment maintenance, downtime reduction, and capacity planning
- Handle employee performance, training, discipline, and manpower planning
