Finance Manager

About the role
Supports the Senior Finance Manager/Finance Department Manager in the management and administration of all finance and accounting operations in Parklinks Mall. Ensures that all Finance and Accounting programs, initiatives and processes are effective, efficient and aligned with the established policies, targets, mandatory/statutory and tax requirements as well as overall business objectives of ALI Eton Property Development Corporation.
Key responsibilities
Supports the Finance Executives in the formulation, planning, monitoring and evaluation of the overall/top-line objectives, goals, strategies, measures and initiatives of Finance Department in Parklinks Mall
Assists the Finance Department Manager in the preparation of Annual Budget Planning and Forecasting in Parklinks Mall
Acts as the Advisor/Consultant of Operations Management for enhancing Finance related processes, implementing and rollout of innovative and relevant Finance strategies
Evaluates and analyzes financial data, trends and reports to identify causes of financial problems and develops sound recommendations for improvement of policies and processes
Provides the General Manager and/or Operations Management with sound advice on long term financial planning and analysis, budgeting, cash flow and income generating policies
Handles the conduct of external financial audits and compliance checks on a regular basis
Handles the bookkeeping and recording of daily transactions in Parklinks Mall
Ensures the timely preparation, filing and payment of business taxes as well as permits in Parklinks Mall
Ensures the accurate and timely generation of Financial Statement for his/her specific mall assignment to ensure compliance to government/statutory, MIS requirements/purposes as well as SEC and LGU compliance requirements
Performs coaching, mentoring and development of subordinates
About you
Graduate of BS Accountancy preferably a Certified Public Accountant
Minimum of three (3) years extensive work experience in Financial Management and Audit preferably in retail and property management industries
Proficient in the use of MS Office applications specifically MS Word, Powerpoint, MS Excel and MS Visio as well as other specialized softwares like SAP or Oracle
Above Average proficiency level in oral and written communication skills including negotiation, presentation, facilitation and training all levels of the organization
Deals with complex problems and tasks wherein decisions or tasks are planned, delegated, coordinated or implemented or any combination of these
