Digital Appliance Service Technician

Job Description
- Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair various residential and commercial appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, smart home devices).
- Diagnostics: Diagnose issues by disassembling units and using diagnostic tools (multimeters, gauges) to identify faulty components.
- Repair & Testing: Repair or replace defective parts (motors, thermostats) and test functionality to ensure safety and performance standards.
- Customer Service: Explain repair needs to customers, provide cost estimates, and offer advice on proper usage and maintenance.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed service records, update databases, and manage truck stock inventory.
Job Specification (Requirements)
- Experience: 1–2+ years of experience in appliance repair, preferably with experience in digital, smart, or Wi-Fi-enabled home appliances.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and stand for long periods.
- Other: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
