Supply Chain Manager – Commissary Operations

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations of the commissary, ensuring the efficient procurement, inventory management, production planning, warehousing, and distribution of products to all branches. This role focuses on maintaining product quality, controlling costs, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery while supporting the company's operational and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth.
• Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor performance.
• Oversee inventory planning and control to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and shortages.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Logistics, Purchasing, and Operations teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor daily commissary operations, ensuring timely production and delivery to all store branches.
• Analyze demand forecasts and create production and replenishment plans.
• Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, supplier performance, delivery efficiency, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality assurance procedures, and company policies.
• Identify process improvement opportunities using data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Manage logistics and transportation activities to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Prepare reports on inventory, procurement, supply chain performance, and operational costs for management review.
• Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in a food commissary, food manufacturing, restaurant chain, or FMCG environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, and production planning.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or inventory management systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
