Job Overview
GoPeople is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Generation Specialist to support our sales team in identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities. This role involves prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, and appointment setting with potential clients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proven experience in B2B lead generation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct B2B lead generation through multiple channels including LinkedIn, Google, CRM, and other platforms.
● Reach out to prospects via cold calling and email outreach to generate interest and set qualified appointments.
● Log calls, maintain accurate lead information, and update records using Excel and CRM systems.
● Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads and scheduled appointments.
● Track and report lead generation activities and performance metrics regularly.
● Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects to support the company’s sales growth targets.
● Research industries, companies, and decision-makers to identify new business opportunities.
● Contribute to process improvements and provide feedback on lead generation strategies.
Requirements
● At least 2+ years of experience in B2B lead generation and/or appointment setting.
● Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
● Experience using CRM tools for data tracking and reporting.
● Familiarity with LinkedIn, Google, and software-based lead generation methods.
● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
● Sales background with proven experience in closing a sale.
● Experience working with Australian accounts is a plus.
● Background in logistics and/or sales is an advantage.
● Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working under pressure.
