Solar Technical Support Engineer (After-Sales)

Job Overview
The Technical Support Engineer provides after-sales technical support for solar energy systems and EV charging equipment. The role handles technical troubleshooting, assesses customer concerns, coordinates issue resolution, and maintains accurate records of technical cases and troubleshooting activities.
Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide after-sales technical support for solar energy systems and EV charging equipment.
Troubleshoot technical issues affecting system and equipment performance.
Assess reported issues and determine appropriate troubleshooting steps.
Support the proper operation of installed systems and charging equipment.
Use technical manuals, documentation, and established procedures when resolving issues.
Customer Support
Handle customer concerns and technical complaints related to installed systems and equipment.
Explain technical issues and troubleshooting steps clearly to customers.
Coordinate with relevant teams when issues require further technical assistance or escalation.
Provide timely and professional support throughout the resolution process.
Documentation & Ticket Management
Maintain accurate records of customer concerns, technical assessments, and troubleshooting activities.
Update ticketing systems and related technical documentation.
Document issue resolution and maintain records for tracking and reference.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
Experience in technical support, after-sales service, troubleshooting, or a related engineering function.
Background in renewable energy or solar energy.
Experience in a startup environment is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good technical troubleshooting skills.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to understand and work with technical manuals and documentation.
