Job Overview
We are an online directory connecting growers and contractors across Australia’s cropping sector. As a small, early-stage team, we operate in a people-driven, relationship-based industry built on trust, community, and family values. We are seeking a down-to-earth, curious, and motivated Social Media & Content Coordinator to manage our social media presence, create engaging content, and foster community interaction. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute long-term, with initiative and cultural awareness valued over advanced technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule posts across social media platforms
- Create content including:
- Reels and TikTok videos
- Branded photos
- Social media graphic tiles
- Personality-driven cultural and commentary content
- Engage with the online community by responding to comments and messages
- Post in relevant groups and encourage conversation and interaction
- Review raw content and transform it into engaging posts aligned with seasonal goals
- Support client content creation for growers and contractors over time
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
- Experience creating content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Basic skills in graphic design and video production (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to engage audiences and foster community interaction
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Quick learner with a willingness to adapt and take initiative
- Interest in Australian agriculture, rural communities, or related industries is a plus
- Understanding of social media trends, online culture, and audience engagement
- Alignment with people-first, family-oriented values and collaborative teamwork
