HIRING: General Accounting Virtual Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable General Accounting Virtual Assistant to support our US-based clients. This role focuses on bookkeeping, basic accounting tasks, and assisting with tax-related processes. If you’re organized, numbers-driven, and comfortable working remotely, this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks (data entry, categorization, reconciliations)
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
- Support tax preparation by organizing financial documents and reports
- Ensure accuracy of financial data across accounting systems
- Communicate with clients regarding financial updates and requests
- Use accounting tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
Qualifications
- Experience in bookkeeping or general accounting (preferred but not strictly required)
- Familiarity with US accounting practices is a plus
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant
Compensation
- $5/hour
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift (US Business Hours)
