Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness;
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy;
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time;
  • Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems;
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures;
  • Training IT users on new and existing software;
  • Identify and fix shortcomings in the IT environment;
  • Management software integrations and new implementations;
  • Provide IT support to both Farming and Hospitality divisions;
  • Manage external IT service providers;
  • Conceptualising and implementation of overall IT strategy;
  • Manage IT CAPEX and OPEX spend budgets;
  • Administration and Management of IT infrastructure;
  • Manage and implement projects as per company objectives;
  • System Security Management.

Requirements:

  • Three to five years hands-on experience with Windows and Unix/Linux system administration;
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
  • Knowledge in IT Service Management and other process frameworks (ITIL V3);
  • Data management and infrastructure background, with experience in storage, security, business continuity and disaster recovery;
  • Specialization: IT – Network / System / Database;
  • Private Hospital environment experience will be an advantage;
  • HTML;
  • Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer – Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent;
  • Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in IT/Computer – Software or equivalent;
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Management or Team Lead role;
  • Education – Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent;
  • Proficient in Cisco;
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize;
  • With eight years+ of IT experience, with a background that covers the full spectrum of medium-scale IT management.
