- The Assistant Therapist works under the supervision of licensed therapists to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. This role involves assisting in treatment sessions, preparing materials, maintaining records, and fostering a safe, welcoming environment for clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred).
- Certification or training in therapy-related fields (e.g., ABA, mental health, occupational therapy) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a therapy or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a client-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
