Sports and Theatre Processing Specialist - Ph

The Role

We are hiring a detail-oriented Sports & Theatre Processing Specialist to ensure purchased tickets are accurately

recorded, correctly listed, and ready for pricing and sale. This role combines inventory processing, quality control, and

refund tracking with customer service representative (CSR) calling support. You will work with brokers and internal teams

to resolve issues, meet processing deadlines, and help prevent incorrect deliveries or canceled sales.

Inventory Processing & Quality Control

• Account for purchased inventory. Process sports and season-ticket orders in our point-of-sale (POS) system, research
  missing orders, resolve purchase-order discrepancies, and maintain accurate ownership tags and inventory holds.
• Maintain listing accuracy. Audit purchases, attach ticket PDFs, verify required seat disclosures and restrictions, and ensure inventory is approved and cleared for sale.
  
• Resolve inventory issues. Manage canceled purchases and sales, address marketplace broadcasting issues, and promptly report blockers that could delay processing.
  
• Track refunds through completion. Request, monitor, confirm, and match refunds for rescheduled, postponed, or canceled events, keeping brokers and requesters informed.
  
• Communicate and collaborate. Work professionally with brokers, marketplaces, and internal teams to investigate discrepancies, resolve concerns, and provide clear status updates.
  
• Follow and improve processes. Use documented standard operating procedures, help update training materials, and recommend improvements to accuracy, processing speed, and efficiency.
  

CSR Calling & Account Support

• Handle assigned CSR calls. Support Sports & Theatre with new purchases, account clarification, refund requests,
  account unlocking, and account management.
• Resolve issues professionally. Complete assigned calls promptly and accurately within required timeframes, maintaining courteous, professional communication throughout customer and account interactions.
  
• Follow call assignments and priorities. Provide CSR support as needed during sports and theatre seasons and other periods of business need, as assigned and prioritized by the Team Lead.
  

What You Bring

• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn company-specific systems and changing processes quickly.
  
• Basic Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, with fast, accurate data entry and close attention to detail.
  
• Clear written communication and a professional phone manner, with the ability to handle CSR calls, clarify account questions, and work toward accurate resolutions.
  
• Strong organization, logical problem-solving, and the ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines.
  
• Reliability, punctuality, initiative, and a collaborative approach. You take ownership of your work, check your accuracy, and seek support when needed.
  

Preferred: Previous data-entry experience and familiarity with U.S. sports are a plus, but not required.

Work Schedule

This role requires availability for overnight (graveyard) and rotating shifts, with flexibility for weekend work based on business needs.

What Success Looks Like

Success means accurate inventory and listings, completed refunds, and processing work and CSR calls handled correctly and on time. Team Lead priorities are followed, and issues are communicated early.
