Senior Full Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities:

· Refactoring monolithic services into modular, type-safe architecture without disrupting live systems

· Integrating Ai APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama) into our call centre and customer support workflows

· Building real-time AI features with streaming responses and proper error handling

· Designing database schemas that support both traditional business logic and AI features like embeddings and conversation histories

· Creating accessible, responsive interfaces with Next.js App Router and React Server Components

· Establishing observability and monitoring for both traditional services and AI integrations

What We're Looking For

· Technical Foundation (5+ years)

· Strong TypeScript skills, you're comfortable with advanced types, generics, and building type-safe systems end-to-end

· Production experience with Next.js (App Router), React, and modern frontend patterns

· Solid backend development with Node.js or Next.JS

· Expert SQL knowledge and experience designing relational databases at scale

· Experience with ORMs like Drizzle, Prisma, or TypeORM

· Understanding of API design, whether REST, tRPC, or similar Practical Experience

· You've worked on real production systems with real users and real consequences

· You've dealt with legacy code and know how to refactor it respectfully

· You're familiar with modern deployment practices, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (we use AWS, Azure, Vercel, Planetscale)

· You've debugged performance issues, optimised queries, and made systems faster

· You write tests and believe in code quality, but you're pragmatic about when perfect is the enemy of good Beneficial Experience

These aren't requirements, but they'd help you hit the ground running:

· You've integrated AI/LLM APIs into production applications

· You understand prompt engineering and the practical limitations of current AI models

· You've worked with PlanetScale, Drizzle ORM, React Query, and Tailwind CSS

· You've built features involving real-time data, streaming, or WebSockets

· You have experience with marketplace platforms, fintech, or SaaS products

· You've mentored other engineers or contributed to technical documentation
