Senior Medical Manager

Pfizer seeks a Senior Medical Manager for its Vaccines portfolio in the Philippines to provide strategic medical leadership, develop evidence-based initiatives, and engage key healthcare stakeholders. The role combines external field engagement with internal governance, requiring a physician with pharmaceutical medical expertise to advance portfolio objectives and public health priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Vaccines Medical Strategy aligned with business and public health priorities
- Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and government organizations
- Provide scientific oversight for medical communications, educational programs, and research activities
- Direct evidence-generation initiatives including research strategy and publication support
- Build medical capability across Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams through education and mentoring
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine registered with PRC
- Completed residency training or medical school faculty appointment
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine or commitment to obtain certification
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs experience with demonstrated progression
- Strong scientific expertise in vaccines with ability to translate clinical evidence
- Experience in external scientific engagement and evidence generation programs
