Front Office Associate (Part-Time Only)

Job Overview:
As a Front Office Associate at Z Hostel, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a vital role in creating their initial impression of our hostel and ensuring their stay is enjoyable and memorable. You'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from welcoming guests and managing reservations to providing information and assisting with any needs they may have.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and welcoming guests with enthusiasm, making them feel at home.
Checking in guests, verifying reservations, processing payments, and issuing room keys.
Providing information about Z Hostel's amenities, local attractions, and events.
Assisting guests with any inquiries, requests, or problems they may encounter.
Resolving guest complaints promptly and effectively.
Handling room bookings, cancellations, and modifications while maintaining accurate records.
Communicating with guests about reservation details, confirmations, and any changes.
Answering incoming calls, transferring calls, taking messages, and responding to guest inquiries via email.
Maintaining clear and professional communication with guests and colleagues.
Managing cash transactions, maintaining accurate cash floats, and coordinating with the accounting department for proper financial reporting.
Maintaining and updating guest information, managing room inventory, and preparing reports as required.
Keeping the reception area tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials.
Monitoring office supplies and placing orders when necessary.
Coordinating guest requests with housekeeping, concierge, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.
Working closely with other staff members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Knowledgeable in using Cloudbeds Property Management System (PMS).
With good communication and customer service skills.
Preferably with experience in front office operations, hotel reservations, and guest relations.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
Willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
