Finance and Accounting Manager - Healthcare

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Lead to oversee the financial planning, governance, and operational control of our expanding clinic network. In this role, you will drive financial discipline, ensure tax and regulatory compliance, and strengthen internal controls as the company scales from a single line of business into a multi-business healthcare enterprise.

• Financial Operations & Control: Oversee multi-clinic accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations to ensure accurate monthly closures and consolidated reporting.
• PhilHealth & Billing Management: Supervise private-pay and PhilHealth eClaims submission, tracking, reconciliation, and dispute resolution to maintain steady cash flow.
• Tax & Statutory Compliance: Lead full compliance for BIR filings (taxes, VAT, withholding), statutory remittances (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth), and local government requirements.
• Internal Audits & Governance: Design, implement, and enforce financial SOPs, internal controls, and regular audits for clinic petty cash, inventory, billing, and expense approvals.
• Financial Planning & Strategy: Prepare budgets, variance analyses, and unit-level performance reports (tracking utilization, margins, and EBITDA by clinic). Perform cost-benefit analyses for clinic expansion and medical equipment investments.
• CapEx & Asset Management: Oversee capital expenditure planning, asset capitalization, and depreciation tracking for diagnostic and medical equipment.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies while coaching clinic-level billing and finance staff on compliance and fraud prevention.

Key Qualifications & Competencies

• Proven experience in healthcare, clinical, or multi-site financial management.
• Strong expertise in BIR tax regulations, statutory reporting, and PhilHealth eClaims/reimbursement workflows.
• Advanced analytical skills with a track record in budgeting, cost optimization, and unit economics.
• Demonstrated experience developing financial SOPs, internal controls, and governance structures for scaling businesses.
• Strong leadership ability to mentor accounting and clinic billing staff.
