Ang Airline Cargo Associate ay responsable sa maayos na paghawak, pagproseso, pagkakarga, at pagbaba ng mga cargo shipment ayon sa patakaran ng airline at mga regulasyon. Tungkulin din nito na tiyakin ang maayos na operasyon ng cargo kabilang ang documentation, customer service, inventory, at safety procedures.
RESPONSIBILIDAD:
- Tanggapin, suriin, at iproseso ang mga papasok at palabas na cargo shipment.
- Maghanda ng mga dokumento tulad ng airway bills, manifests, at customs documents.
- Siguraduhin na tama ang detalye ng shipment at sumusunod sa airline at safety regulations.
- Magkarga at magbaba ng cargo mula sa eroplano, truck, at warehouse gamit ang tamang kagamitan.
- Makipag-coordinate sa freight forwarders, customs, at iba pang kaakibat sa operasyon.
- Tiyakin na maayos ang paglalagay ng label, pag-iimbak, at paghawak ng cargo lalo na sa mga espesyal na shipment tulad ng perishable items at live animals.
- I-report ang mga nasira, nawawala, o delayed na shipment.
- Panatilihing malinis at ligtas ang cargo handling area.
- Gumamit ng kagamitan tulad ng forklift, dolly, at pallet jack kung kinakailangan.
- Tumulong sa inventory at organisasyon ng warehouse.
KWALIPIKASYON:
- High School Graduate o katumbas nito; may advantage kung may training sa logistics o aviation.
- Mas mainam kung may karanasan sa cargo, warehouse, o logistics operations.
- Marunong gumamit ng basic computer at cargo management system.
- Kayang magbuhat ng mabibigat na cargo (hanggang 70 lbs) at handang magtrabaho sa iba’t ibang kondisyon ng panahon.
- Masipag, maingat, at may maayos na organisasyon sa trabaho.
- May kaalaman sa cargo handling regulations ay isang advantage.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ang trabaho ay ginagawa sa warehouse at airport ramp area.
- Kailangang flexible sa shifting schedule, weekend, at holiday duty.
- Maaaring ma-expose sa malalakas na ingay, heavy equipment, at init o ulan habang nagtatrabaho.
