We are looking for a forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in fintech, digital payments, or consumer financial services to lead financial strategy and support the next phase of business growth.

This executive role is suited for a finance leader who understands the financial dynamics of technology-driven businesses, including consumer financing, credit portfolio management, capital allocation, and scalable financial operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and board to strengthen financial performance, develop funding strategies, enhance risk management, and establish the financial infrastructure needed to support long-term growth. Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is highly desirable, while exposure to solar energy, renewable energy, or other asset-backed business models is an advantage.

Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & Business Performance

• Lead the company's financial strategy, annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, treasury, and management reporting.

• Develop financial models, performance indicators, and business forecasts to support strategic planning and investment decisions.

• Monitor profitability, cash flow, operating costs, and capital efficiency.

• Establish scalable financial processes, internal controls, and reporting systems appropriate for a growing business.

• Deliver actionable financial insights to the CEO, board, and other key stakeholders.

Fintech Finance & Consumer Financing

• Apply fintech and digital financial services expertise to strengthen financial performance and support business expansion.

• Oversee the financial aspects of consumer financing products, installment-based payment models, or other credit-enabled business offerings.

• Develop and monitor financial frameworks for credit exposure, underwriting performance, portfolio quality, provisioning, and collections.

• Evaluate portfolio profitability, repayment trends, delinquency, and financial risk to support sound business decisions.

• Partner with relevant teams to improve financing economics, risk controls, and the sustainability of the business model.

Capital Management & Investor Relations

• Lead capital planning, funding strategies, liquidity management, and financial structuring.

• Support fundraising initiatives, investor due diligence, and the preparation of financial information for potential investors and lenders.

• Develop financial models and portfolio reporting that demonstrate business performance, scalability, and investment readiness.

• Engage with the CEO, board, lenders, and investors on financial performance, funding requirements, and strategic opportunities.

• Assess opportunities to improve capital utilization and develop financing portfolios into scalable, independently managed asset businesses.

Executive Leadership & Organizational Development

• Serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and board, contributing to corporate strategy and long-term planning.

• Lead and develop the finance function, strengthening team capabilities, accountability, and financial governance.

• Oversee HR and administrative functions, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

• Support organizational transformation, process improvement, and the development of scalable operating structures.

• Balance high-level strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualification is an advantage.

• Significant senior finance leadership experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, Finance Director, or equivalent executive .

• Direct experience in the fintech industry is highly preferred , particularly in digital payments, e-wallets, payment platforms, digital financial services, or technology-enabled consumer finance.

• Strong background in corporate finance, FP&A, financial modeling, budgeting, treasury, and financial reporting.

• Practical understanding of consumer financing, lending, credit risk, portfolio performance, provisioning, or installment-based business models.

• Experience in capital planning, fundraising, investor relations, financial structuring, or board-level reporting.

• Demonstrated ability to connect financial strategy with commercial performance, risk management, and business growth.

• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and evolving business environment.

• Willingness to work under a hybrid arrangement in Makati City.

Local candidates currently based in the Philippines are strongly preferred.
