What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead Daily Accounting Operations : Oversee accounts payable/receivables, general ledger, and bank reconciliations to ensure smooth operations.
- Month-End & Year-End Closures : Manage the timely and accurate closing of financial periods.
- Monitor Team Performance : Guide and support the accounting department to ensure efficiency and accuracy in daily transactions.
- Financial Reporting : Review, validate, and submit the Balance Sheet Schedule, Cost Breakdown, and other general accounting reports on time.
- Accounts Payable Management : Supervise payment schedules, ensuring all obligations are met in a timely manner.
- Inventory and Tax Reports : Validate and ensure the accuracy of inventory reports and BIR filings (monthly, quarterly, and yearly).
- Streamline Processes : Organize financial data, maintain up-to-date records, and suggest improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.
- Policy Development : Help establish and enforce accounting policies and procedures that align with company goals.
- Other Tasks : Support the senior management team with any additional tasks or instructions as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience : At least 3-5 years in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Skills : Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Leadership : Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Attention to Detail : A keen eye for accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
