Production, Planning and Material Control Supervisor

About the role FSC Metal Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner / Material Control Supervisor to join our team in Ugong, Valenzuela City. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production planning process and managing inventory levels to ensure that production targets are met efficiently. This role involves coordinating with various departments, monitoring material requirements, and optimizing the supply chain to support production timelines. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the availability of material requirements Evaluates the preparation of material procurement plan and purchase requisition of materials per production job order Monitor material usage and adjust procurement strategies to minimize waste and reduce costs Monitors the work-in-process, finished goods inventory and non-conformance reports Prepares regular reports on material usage and inventory status for management review Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production department to ensure material availability Qualifications: BS Industrial Engineering, BS Mathematics, Operations Management or any related field With at least 2 years of experience in production planning, material / inventory control or a similar role in the manufacturing industry Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams Computer literate and proficient in inventory management system Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines We welcome fresh graduates who demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to details and a proactive mindset
