Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend wines to guests based on their preferences and food choices
- Present wine lists and explain different varieties, regions, and pairings
- Properly open, decant, and serve wine according to service standards
- Ensure wine is served at the correct temperature and in appropriate glassware
- Maintain and organize the wine inventory and cellar
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with management for reordering
- Assist in creating and updating the wine list
- Provide training or guidance to staff on wine knowledge (if needed)
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and company policies
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest inquiries professionally
