Section Supervisor

The Section Supervisor – Production is responsible for overseeing daily production operations within the assigned section, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards. This role supervises production personnel, monitors output, and ensures that production targets are achieved while maintaining safety and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily production activities within the assigned section
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are consistently achieved
• Maintain product quality in accordance with company standards and specifications
• Enforce compliance with food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures (e.g., GMP, HACCP)
• Lead, guide, and evaluate production staff performance
• Conduct proper manpower allocation and scheduling
• Monitor machine/equipment usage and coordinate maintenance when needed
• Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
• Ensure proper documentation of production reports, output, and incidents
• Address operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly
• Coordinate with other departments (QA, Warehouse, Maintenance) for smooth operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or any related course
• With at least 2–4 years of experience in production or manufacturing environment
• With supervisory or leadership experience is an advantage
• Knowledgeable in production processes, food safety, and quality standards
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work in a fast-paced and shifting schedule environment
