Job Summary:
The Finance Manager will oversee daily financial operations, accounting treatments, and tax compliance for the company. This role ensures that all financial reporting aligns with both International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local Philippine accounting standards, while actively managing relationship channels with local financial institutions and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
1. Experience:
- Industry Track Record: Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial management experience specifically within the Consumer Finance or Fintech lending sector.
- Regional Context: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing financial operations within Southeast Asian markets.
- Local Expertise: Deep familiarity with Philippine tax structures, BIR regulations, SEC requirements, and local corporate compliance frameworks is heavily preferred.
2. Education:
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
3. Skills & Competencies:
- Language Proficiency: Complete professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage to facilitate seamless coordination with Headquarters.
- Technical Acumen: Strong proficiency in corporate accounting software, advanced Excel modeling, and a deep understanding of automated accounting workflows for high-volume consumer transactions.
