Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Communication, Linguistics, or a related field
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Experience in ESL, online English teaching, or English proficiency test preparation is preferred
- Strong communication, facilitation, and classroom management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online learning platforms
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching PTE Academic, MET, IELTS, TOEFL, or other standardized English proficiency examinations is an advantage
- Familiarity with communicative language teaching (CLT) and outcome-based instruction
Responsibilities:
- Train PTE and IELTS students to reach target scores with strong support.
- Deliver engaging lessons using updated exam knowledge and effective teaching methods.
- Communicate with diverse learners and provide one-on-one feedback.
- Manage basic administrative tasks, including attendance and score tracking.
Work-from-Home Requirements:
- Reliable desktop or laptop
- Stable high-speed internet connection
- HD webcam and noise-cancelling headset with microphone
- Quiet and professional workspace suitable for online teaching
As part of the selection process, applicants should be ready to complete a 20-minute teaching demonstration on a topic related to IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, MET, or any English language proficiency topic . Applicants should prepare and use a presentation during the teaching demo.
