PQC/OQC Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a PQC/OQC Engineer to support quality inspection activities throughout the manufacturing process and final product release. This role is responsible for planning and monitoring inspections, managing QC inspectors, handling non-conforming products, conducting training, and maintaining quality records to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee Process Quality Control (PQC) and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) inspection activities.
- Monitor inspection progress and ensure adequate inspection coverage across production lines.
- Make quality disposition decisions for non-conforming products and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
- Train and develop QC inspectors on inspection methods, quality standards, and measurement techniques.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and training documentation.
- Support audits, process improvement initiatives, and compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, and other departments to resolve quality concerns and improve inspection effectiveness.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronics, or related field).
- At least 2 years of experience in PQC, OQC, IQC, or Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in inspection planning, quality documentation, and handling non-conforming products.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience training and mentoring QC inspectors is an advantage.
- Familiarity with dimensional measuring equipment such as CMM, OMM, calipers, and micrometers is preferred.
- Experience with KEYENCE or Mitutoyo measurement systems is a plus.
- ISO 9001 Awareness or Internal Auditor Training
- Quality Engineering, Quality Control, or Process Improvement certifications are an advantage
