Description - Prepare authentic Chinese / Asian Fusion dishes, ensuring adherence to traditional recipes and cooking techniques.
- Oversee kitchen operations, managing inventory, food preparation, and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to create a seamless dining experience for guests.
- Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items while maintaining food quality and presentation.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
Requirements
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience in a Chinese / Asian Fusion cuisine setting.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in various Chinese cooking methods, including stir-frying, steaming, and braising.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary arts.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to develop and execute new recipes while maintaining quality standards.
- Working Conditions: Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
