What is this role about?
The Officer (Corporate Accounting - SFI and OTC) is in charge of creating and maintaining accurate and compliant financial documents. Records and reports financial transactions and manages revenue, expense, asset, liability and equity accounts.
What will YOU do?
- Prepare financial and underlying reports for the monthly management reporting of OTC and SFI
- Obtain analytics for financial reports for the monthly management reporting of OTC and SFI
- Arrange all schedules that will be requested for year-end audits of OTC and SFI
- Undertake the monthly creation of Journal Entries for the tallying of TB IFS vs TB Netsuite by preparing accurate, updated, and complete journal information for the recording of reconciling entries to the appropriate accounts
- Process the Capitalization and Depreciation of Fixed Assets in NetSuite to be reflected in reports
- Prepare the weekly reconciliation for the month-end reconciliation and reporting by performing bank reconciliation, lapsing, and preparing other weekly working papers/reports
What will YOU need?
- At least 2 - 3 years of related employment experience
- Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy or any accounting-related courses
- Must be a critical thinker and keen to details
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly, G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations) and Microsoft Office Package
