We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support the financial operations of our fitness client through accurate invoice processing, vendor management, payment administration, and accounts payable reconciliation.

What Is Your Mission?

You will provide exceptional service to our partner brands by:

• Processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensuring invoices are properly coded, authorized, and matched with purchase orders, contracts, or supporting documentation
• Managing vendor communications, responding to inquiries, and resolving payment discrepancies promptly
• Coordinating with internal departments to obtain the necessary approvals and supporting documentation for payments
• Performing regular reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers and vendor accounts to maintain financial accuracy
• Assisting with month-end closing activities by preparing reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Supporting compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting best practices
• Identifying opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and streamline financial workflows
• Maintaining organized, detailed, and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions and supporting documents
• Preparing and coordinating payment runs in collaboration with the finance team
• Managing employee expense reimbursements while ensuring compliance with company policies
• Supporting audits and financial reviews by providing required documentation and transaction records
• Contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and financial controls

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of Accounts Payable experience , preferably in a high-volume or multinational environment
• Experience processing invoices, managing vendor accounts, and performing account reconciliations
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems such as:
• QuickBooks
• Oracle
• SAP
• Similar financial platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
• Pivot Tables
• VLOOKUP
• Financial reporting functions
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and regulatory compliance
• Experience supporting U.S.-based clients or familiarity with U.S. financial practices is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP)
• Certified Bookkeeper (CB)
• Experience supporting the fitness, health, wellness, or related service industries
• Proven track record of improving Accounts Payable processes and implementing best practices
