Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will act as a key driver of process improvement, leading the analysis and redesign of workflows across departments such as Claims, Underwriting, and Member Services. This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies and developing optimized “To-Be” processes that leverage automation and streamlined logic to enhance operational performance.

STANDARD RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS

• Requirement Gathering: Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Data Analysis: Analyze business processes and data sets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
• Documentation: Create detailed process maps, user stories, and system workflows to guide development teams.
• Testing Support: Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test scripts and ensuring final products meet initial business requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare and present status reports and data visualizations to management for informed decision-making.
• Process Discovery: Lead in-depth workshops and stakeholder interviews to document and map current (“As-Is”) business processes.
• Gap Analysis: Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and manual touchpoints that contribute to delays, errors, or increased operational costs.
• Process Optimization: Design simplified and efficient workflows that reduce complexity and improve turnaround times (TAT).
• Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with the existing technology landscape.
• Standardization: Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to promote consistency and best practices across the organization
