We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook Helper to support our kitchen team. The Cook Helper will assist the chefs and cooks with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly.
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Help with cooking and assembling dishes under the guidance of the head cook or chef
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and cleaning cooking equipment
- Store ingredients properly and help with inventory management
- Ensure proper food safety and hygiene practices are followed
- Assist in managing kitchen tools, utensils, and supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the cook or kitchen manager
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and assist in various kitchen tasks
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Working Conditions:
- Standing for long periods
- Fast-paced environment with high energy required
- Flexibility with work hours, including weekends or evenings as needed
