Sales and Marketing Officer

EyeLight Travel and Tours is seeking a creative and dynamic Sales & Marketing Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote our travel packages, services, and brand. You will work closely with management, reservations team, and external partners to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Campaigns:

• Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns that align with business goals.
• Create targeted marketing initiatives for different customer segments (e.g., corporate clients & leisure travelers).
• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

Sales & Client Acquisition

• Conduct  weekly sales visits to potential and existing clients .
• Present EyeLight Travel and Tours’ services, packages, and promotions to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
• Coordinate with the reservations team to convert leads into confirmed bookings.

Content Creation and Social Media Management:

• Oversee the creation of promotional materials, including graphics and social media content.
• Manage EyeLight Travel’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram & TikTok), ensuring consistent brand messaging and engagement.

Digital Marketing:

• Ensure EyeLight Travel’s online presence is regularly updated with the latest promotions and travel offerings.

Partnerships and Collaborations:

• Establish partnerships with hotels, airlines, tourist boards, and other industry stakeholders to co-market travel products.

Customer Engagement:

• Implement email and SMS marketing strategies to engage new and returning customers.
• Develop and execute loyalty programs and special promotions to encourage repeat business.

Market Research:

• Conduct research on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
• Prepare regular reports on market conditions and marketing campaign performance.

Brand Development:

• Maintain the consistency of EyeLight Travel and Tours' brand identity across all channels.
• Innovate new ways to enhance the company’s brand image and reach.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

• Fresh graduates are welcome as long as the applicant has a creative eye for design and is comfortable to shoot content for social media.
• Experience in a marketing role within the travel or hospitality industry is a plus.
• Proven experience with social media content creation is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of marketing tools, platforms, and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed marketing decisions.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Canva).
• Familiarity with the tourism sector is an advantage.
