Marketing Officer

Job Function:

The Marketing Officer (Generalist) is the "Swiss Army Knife" marketer—someone capable of executing campaigns across digital, on-ground, and administrative channels to drive enrollment. The Marketing Officer serves as the operational engine of the marketing department. As a Generalist, the incumbent will execute a wide variety of tasks—from marketing intelligence, toperformance management, managing social media content and organizing school caravans to coordinating with academicdepartments for program promotion. The primary goal is to increase brand visibility and support enrollment targets for Basic Education and Higher Education programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Market Intelligence

Trend Spotting: Monitor the Philippine educational landscape to track emerging trends, prospective student behaviors, and competitor activities.

Strategic Reporting: Transform market data into actionable insights, reports, and presentations that serve as the foundation for marketing strategies and campaigns.

Competitive Positioning: Analyze market segments to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation within the education sector.

2. Performance Marketing

Performance Tracking: Compile weekly reports such as enrollment funnel and KPIs, social media engagement, inquiry volume, marketing campaigns (e.g., social media reach and engagement, inquiry volume, event attendance) and prepare basic performance reports and recommendations to guide future strategies.

3. Digital Marketing & Content Execution

Content Production: Coordinate with creatives on the creation of visual assets (graphics, short-form videos/reels) that showcase the "NTC Experience."

Community Engagement: Actively participate in student groups and forums to gauge sentiment and address concerns, serving as the "online voice" of the college.

Social Media Management: Coordinate with the creative team to manage the day-to-day posting schedule for NTC’s official pages (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Assist in monitoring comments and inquiries to ensure a high response rate.

4. Lead Generation & Support

Inquiry Management: Funnel digital and physical leads to the Admissions team effectively.

5. Events & On-Ground Activations

School Campaigns: Plan and execute marketing visits to feeder high schools. Conduct career talks and presentations to prospective students.

Institutional Events: Lead the logistical coordination for major events such as Open House, Enrollment Week, and Anniversary celebrations.

Partnership Support: Represent NTC at external education fairs, LGU events, and industry expos to generate leads.

Collateral Management: Plans and manages the marketing collaterals (flyers, tarpaulins, merchandise), ensuring cost-efficiency and quality.

6. General Duties

Collaborates with academic departments to create accurate and compelling promotional materials. Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.
