Accounting AP Officer

- Handles and reviews general accounting functions, such as but not limited to the following:
- Bank reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payables
- Inventory costing and Reconciliation
- Fixed Assets
- Bank loans
- Payroll & govt. remittances
- Related party transaction
- Checks transactions and its supporting documents for mathematical accuracy, validity, reasonableness and completeness
- That Management may assign from time to time in relevant to job positions
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
- Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with accounting software packages
- Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular)
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Keen attention to detail
a. Revolving Fund replenishment
b. Cash advance liquidation
c. Reimbursements
d. Purchase requisitions/Purchase Order
3. Prepares and records month-end closing entries for
a. accrual
b. Prepayments
c. Depreciation and amortization
d. Adjustment and reclassification
e. correcting entries
4. Review and reconciles subsidiary ledger and General Ledger monthly to ensure accuracy of posting.
5. Validates Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss account and prepares fluctuation or ratio analysis.
6. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of reports/requirements submitted.
7. Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
8. Ensures systematic filing of documents
9. Reviews and recommends modifications to improve departmental policies, procedures and processes

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy.
