We are seeking an experienced Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic team at Exigo Tech . In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the procurement of IT infrastructure, applications, and related services. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant purchasing activities. This position requires a solid understanding of procurement processes, familiarity with IT and technical requirements, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple procurement requests efficiently.
Technical & IT Procurement
- Support procurement by assessing and recommending configurations of IT hardware, software, cloud services, licenses, and technical support contracts
- Review and validate technical specifications in coordination with IT standards and other technical teams
- Assist with software license tracking, renewals, and subscription management
- Ensure purchased solutions align with technical and compliance requirements
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Request and evaluate quotations from IT vendors, resellers, and service providers
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal) to complete procurement activities such as, accreditation, purchasing, etc.
- Support vendor onboarding and maintain updated records for technical suppliers
Procurement Operations
- Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and related documentation
- Track order status, deliveries, renewals, and asset handovers
- Maintain accurate procurement records in systems and trackers
Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure procurement activities follow internal policies and approval workflows
- Support cost comparisons, basic spend analysis, and audit requirements
- Maintain trackers for IT assets, licenses, and contracts
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
Technical & Functional Skills
- Working knowledge of IT hardware, software, and basic infrastructure concepts
- Familiarity with software licensing models (SaaS, subscriptions, maintenance agreements)
- Understanding of procurement processes and vendor coordination
Core Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to understand and work with technical requirements
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (ERP/procurement systems are a plus)
