JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Email Marketing Content Writer to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging, persuasive, and high-converting email copy for our email marketing campaigns. Your content will help drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales, while maintaining our brand voice across all communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Email Campaign Creation: Write compelling and engaging email copy for various types of campaigns, including promotional emails, newsletters, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and customer retention initiatives.
- Content Strategy Alignment: Work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies for email marketing that align with overall business goals and target audience interests.
- Audience Segmentation: Craft personalized email content tailored to different customer segments, improving engagement and conversion rates.
- A/B Testing: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, create, and execute A/B tests on subject lines, copy, and design elements to optimize email performance.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of email campaigns, using metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and customer feedback to refine future content.
- Collaboration: Work with designers, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive email designs and messaging.
- Copy Editing & Proofreading: Review and proofread email content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand tone.
- Stay Current: Stay up to date with email marketing best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies to continuously improve email campaign effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Proven 5 to 7 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or a similar role.
- Has experience with Dashclicks
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and engaging copy.
- Strong understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact) and marketing automation tools.
- Experience with A/B testing, email analytics, and optimizing email campaigns for better performance.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent proofreading and editing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and project goals.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for email formatting (optional but preferred).
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and how they apply to email marketing (optional but preferred).
- A passion for storytelling and delivering value through creative content.
