Senior Compliance & Legal Officer
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and maintain legal, compliance, and regulatory documentation to support business and governance requirements.
Prepare and coordinate regulatory filings, reports, disclosures, and other compliance-related submissions.
Manage and maintain fund-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Review, interpret, and support the implementation of contractual and legal requirements.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external counsel, regulators, and other parties on legal and compliance matters.
Monitor compliance obligations, deadlines, and reporting requirements to ensure timely completion.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails for regulatory and compliance purposes.
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance governance, controls, and operational efficiency.
Provide guidance and support on legal, regulatory, and compliance-related matters.
Qualifications
College graduate, preferably with a degree in Law, Legal Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Legal and Compliance, with exposure to fund documentation; candidates from law firms are highly encouraged to apply.
Direct experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating fund-related legal documents, including Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs) and Side Letters.
Experience handling regulatory reporting and compliance-related submissions.
Strong understanding of legal documentation, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
