Med Info Spec I - Mid shift & Hybrid

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Medical Information Specialist to provide pharmaceutical and medical information to healthcare providers and patients, and to process adverse event reports. The role operates on a mid-shift schedule in a hybrid arrangement in Taguig City, Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical and technical inquiries about pharmaceutical or device products via phone, email, internet, or mail
• Collect, record, and triage adverse event reports and product complaints per regulatory guidelines
• Document inquiries and interactions in appropriate databases following organizational and client protocols
• Research medical literature and draft responses for complex inquiries in collaboration with internal and external contacts
• Maintain detailed knowledge of project policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life science or healthcare field (pharmacy, nursing, medical technology, biology, etc.)
• Excellent English language proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills
• Ability to interpret complex medical and technical information
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Organizational and time management skills
