Chief Mate

We are looking for 5 Chief Mates to join our growing fleet!
Qualification:
- At least 3 years experience as Chief Mate on ocean-going vessels with worldwide trade.
- With experience on Open-Hatch General Cargo or Bulk Cargo Carrier Vessels fitted with Deck Cargo Crane (Slewing or Gantry crane type).
- Preferably with valid US visa.
Job Description:
Main Duties
- Prioritize safety and environmental compliance at all times.
- Plan and execute cargo and ballast operations in consultation with the Master.
- Maintain vessel stability, seaworthiness, and deck condition.
- Lead and organize the deck crew, ensuring proper rest hours and safety standards.
- Oversee maintenance of deck, accommodation, lifesaving equipment, and firefighting appliances.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, MLC).
- Actively participate in navigation, emergency drills, and security checks.
- Serve as Shipboard Training Officer for the Deck Department.
