Compliance Director

The Compliance Director/Officer provides independent oversight of the organization's Ethics and Compliance Program. This role is responsible for identifying and assessing compliance risks; developing and executing annual compliance audit and monitoring plans; reviewing and advising on conflict of interest disclosures; and partnering with business and operational leaders to integrate compliance practices into day-to-day operations.

The Compliance Director/Officer serves as a subject matter expert on compliance and privacy-related matters, facilitates compliance training and education initiatives, fulfills the responsibilities of the Data Protection Officer (DPO), and ensures adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Additionally, this role provides leadership and management oversight for compliance personnel and supports the continuous enhancement of the organization's compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and continuously improve the compliance and ethics program.
• Lead Compliance Committee meetings and provide program updates.
• Advise senior leadership on compliance, ethics, and regulatory matters.
• Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and compliance.
• Serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and oversee privacy compliance.
• Manage reporting channels, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Develop and execute compliance audit and monitoring plans.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
• Provide guidance on compliance policies and governance processes.
• Coordinate compliance training and awareness initiatives.
• Support due diligence and screening activities.
• Oversee conflict of interest disclosures and mitigation plans.
• Support broader compliance, ethics, and regulatory initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and oversee compliance team members.
