Quality Control Staff (PEZA Pampanga)

Job Summary The Quality Control (QC) Staff is responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in-process products, and finished noodle products meet the company's quality, food safety, and regulatory standards. The role performs inspections, laboratory testing, process verification, and GMP monitoring while supporting continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing compliance. Key Responsibilities Inbound Ingredient Testing

• Inspect and test incoming raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials based on established quality specifications.
• Verify Certificates of Analysis (COA), supplier documentation, and material compliance.
• Accept or reject incoming materials based on quality standards and test results.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse regarding non-conforming materials.

• Monitor production processes from raw material preparation through packaging.
• Conduct in-process quality inspections and verify compliance with production parameters and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure critical control points (CCPs) and process controls are consistently followed.
• Immediately report and recommend corrective actions for process deviations.

• Perform physical, chemical, and sensory testing of finished noodle products as required.
• Inspect packaging quality, labeling accuracy, coding, seal integrity, and product appearance.
• Verify that finished products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications before release.
• Maintain laboratory records and testing documentation.

• Monitor compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
• Conduct routine GMP inspections throughout the production and warehouse areas.
• Identify, isolate, and properly quarantine non-conforming products and materials.
• Support investigations into quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Maintain accurate inspection reports, laboratory records, and quality documentation.
• Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and applicable food safety regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or laboratory testing within food manufacturing or FMCG
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety systems, and quality management standards
• Experience in laboratory testing and inspection procedures is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
