Modern Trade Sales Staff (PEZA Pampanga)

Job Summary: The Modern Trade Sales Staff is responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening strategic partnerships with modern trade accounts for the company's noodle products. The role leads key account management, Joint Business Planning (JBP), trade promotions, category management, commercial negotiations, and account profitability while ensuring excellent in-store execution and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Key Account Management

• Manage and grow relationships with major modern trade accounts (e.g., supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, and club stores).
• Develop strategic account plans to achieve sales, profitability, and market share targets.
• Conduct regular business reviews and maintain strong customer relationships.

Joint Business Planning (JBP) & Top-to-Top Engagement

• Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key retail partners.
• Lead top-to-top business reviews and strategic planning meetings with retailer management.
• Align annual sales objectives, promotional calendars, and growth initiatives with customers.

In-Store Visibility & Category Dominance

• Ensure optimal product placement, planogram compliance, and shelf visibility.
• Drive initiatives to increase shelf share, secondary displays, and category leadership.
• Monitor merchandising standards and retail execution.

Trade Promotion & ROI Optimization

• Plan and execute trade promotions that maximize sales and return on investment (ROI).
• Evaluate promotional effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate promotional execution with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Commercial Negotiation & Key Account Governance

• Negotiate trading terms, promotional agreements, rebates, listing fees, and annual contracts.
• Ensure commercial agreements are profitable and aligned with company objectives.
• Monitor customer compliance with agreed business terms.

On-Shelf Availability (OSA) & Penalty Management

• Monitor product availability and service levels to minimize stock-outs.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to ensure timely replenishment.
• Proactively manage retailer penalties related to delivery performance and service levels.

Market Analytics & Retail Performance

• Analyze retailer POS data, sell-out reports, and market trends.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and category performance.
• Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports to support business decisions.

Trade Spending & Accounts Receivable Governance

• Manage trade investments, promotional budgets, and account profitability.
• Monitor trade spend utilization and return on investment.
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and compliance with credit terms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Modern Trade sales within FMCG, food manufacturing, or consumer goods
• Proven experience managing major retail accounts and key account negotiations
• Strong knowledge of category management, merchandising, and trade marketing
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and sales reporting tools
