About the Role
As Marketing & Content Specialist, you’ll plan, create, and publish content that drives visibility across social media, working closely with our client’s events team to promote event launches and marketing campaigns. This is a hands-on, hybrid role with real creative ownership: you’ll shape the content strategy, produce the content yourself, and measure what works.
Social Media Strategy & Growth
Build and run a social media strategy focused on growing reach, engagement, and followers
Plan and manage monthly content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Run campaign pushes around event launches, ticket sales, and key announcements
Monitor trends, competitors, and platform changes to keep content fresh and relevant
Content Creation & Video Editing
Create scroll-stopping content: short-form videos, Reels, carousels, graphics, and stories
Shoot and edit video content, from event highlights and teasers to testimonials and behind-the-scenes clips
Write engaging captions, hooks, and copy that fit the brand’s voice
Maintain a consistent visual identity across all channels and materials
Events Marketing Support
Work alongside the events lead to plan and promote every event from announcement to post-event recap
Create promotional assets for event pages, ticketing, email campaigns, and social posts
Cover events live on social media and turn event footage into ongoing content
Help coordinate timelines so marketing launches line up with event milestones
Community, Analytics & Reporting
Manage comments, messages, and community engagement across platforms
Track performance (reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions) and report insights monthly
Test content formats, posting times, and campaigns, and refine based on results
Support paid social campaigns, including creatives, targeting, and performance tracking
What We’re Looking For
2–4 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing
A strong portfolio showing social content and edited videos you’ve created
Hands-on video editing skills (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar)
Solid design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
Proven experience growing social accounts and running campaigns that drive visibility
Experience promoting events, launches, or ticketed experiences
Excellent written English and a sharp eye for storytelling
Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines
Comfortable working independently in a hybrid, fast-moving environment
Highly Valued
Experience with wellness, coaching, education, or lifestyle brands
Photography and on-the-ground event content coverage
Experience with Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, or other paid social platforms
Familiarity with email marketing tools and Odoo Marketing apps
