About the role
The IT Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects and system enhancement requests from planning through implementation.
Key responsibilities
Align IT initiatives with business goals and strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with business units and stakeholders
Conduct regular client meetings to provide updates on projects and BAU requests
Manage project initiation and enhancement activities
Coordinate project budgets, costs, and resource requirements
Define priorities for system requests and negotiate delivery timelines with stakeholders
Assess and evaluate BAU system enhancement requests
Participate in the preparation of business cases and high-level requirements documents
Collaborate with business units, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions
Support contract management activities and project governance processes
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Account Manager handling IT projects and Business-As-Usual (BAU) system enhancements.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a client-facing role managing client relationships and delivering IT solutions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven Project Management experience.
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project delivery frameworks.
Hands-on IT project delivery experience, including successful delivery of at least one project as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager.
Experience in Contract Management, including SOW, Master Agreements (MA), MITA, and similar contracts.
Experience presenting to stakeholders at different organizational levels.
