Chinese Chef

We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Dimsum Staff/Dimsum Chef/Chinese Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and steaming various dimsum dishes according to standardized recipes and hygiene protocols.
- Prepare and assemble dimsum items such as siomai, hakaw, siopao, and other traditional offerings.
- Steam or cook dimsum products according to standard procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper food safety practices in the preparation area.
- Monitor inventory levels and report needed supplies.
- Assist in receiving and properly storing deliveries.
- Follow kitchen protocols and safety standards at all times.
- Maintain proper portion control and food presentation.
- Support the kitchen team with other tasks as needed.
- At least High School Graduate or equivalent; TESDA certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 6 months kitchen or food preparation experience, preferably in a Chinese restaurant or commissary.
- Basic knowledge of dimsum preparation and kitchen equipment (e.g., steamers, prep tables).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hygiene and sanitation habits.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
- Team player with a positive work attitude.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience in preparing traditional Chinese or Cantonese cuisine.
- Knowledge of HACCP or basic food safety standards.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
