Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide range of traditional and contemporary dim sum dishes, including dumplings, buns, rolls, and other steamed or fried varieties.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality food preparation and presentation that aligns with restaurant standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen while strictly adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and management to develop new dim sum offerings and refine existing dishes.
- Manage inventory to ensure ingredients are adequately stocked and prepared in a timely manner.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and maintain excellent standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dimsum Chef or in a similar role within a Chinese or Asian cuisine restaurant.
- Expertise in crafting traditional dim sum, including dumplings, bao buns, and spring rolls.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, portion control, and kitchen safety protocols.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
