Online ESL Teacher – Job Description Good day! Thank you so much for your interest in our online teaching opportunity. We’re excited to share more details about the position and application process with you. Position: Online ESL Teacher Company: Mison Education Job Responsibilities Conduct engaging and interactive online English classes. Teach students using the provided lesson materials and teaching resources. Maintain a professional and positive learning environment. Follow the assigned teaching schedule and attend classes on time. Handle trial and demo classes professionally. Provide a quality learning experience and support students’ English development. Communicate with the Tutor Manager regarding schedules, classes, and student concerns. Working Hours Peak teaching hours: 6:00 PM–10:00 PM, Beijing Time, Monday–Friday. Flexible teaching hours are available on weekends. Minimum commitment: 25 hours per week across at least 5 days. Applicants must be able to commit to the required schedule consistently. Compensation Hourly rate: PHP 90–130, depending on your performance during the 25-minute demo class after training. For applicants with strong teaching skills and excellent trial-class performance, the rate may be negotiable. Performance-based bonuses are available, including enrollment bonuses, attendance bonuses, and other special incentives. Application Process 1. Self-Introduction Video Please prepare a short self-introduction video as the first step of the application process and send it here on Microsoft Teams for an initial review. 2. Initial Interview Qualified applicants will be invited to a short video interview. We will also check your teaching setup, equipment, and internet connection. 3. Training Successful applicants will undergo training on our teaching system, procedures, and best practices for online teaching. 4. Demo Class After training, you will conduct a 25-minute demo class using the materials provided. This will help us evaluate your teaching skills and determine your starting rate. 5. Final Onboarding and Schedule Once you successfully complete the application process, you will be supported by a Tutor Manager who will assist with your weekly teaching schedule. We offer fixed class schedules and a booking system, depending on your availability, teaching performance, and student demand.
