About the role
We're an early-stage logistics company running a platform that connects customers, drivers, and our internal admin team. As Operations Staff, you'll sit at the center of daily execution — coordinating drivers, keeping bookings moving, resolving customer issues, and keeping our records clean. This is a hands-on role in a small team, so expect variety and real ownership from day one.
What you'll do
Dispatch and driver coordination
- Assign and monitor bookings through the platform's admin dashboard
- Coordinate with drivers on pickups, drop-offs, delays, and route issues
- Track driver availability, attendance, and on-time performance
- Escalate breakdowns, accidents, or failed deliveries and follow through to resolution
Orders and customer support
- Respond to customer inquiries and booking requests across [channels — e.g. phone, Viber, Messenger, email]
- Handle complaints, delivery disputes, and rebooking requests
- Provide proactive status updates on delayed or problem shipments
- Onboard and assist new users on how to use the platform
Admin and back-office
- Maintain accurate records of trips, proof of delivery, and driver documents
- Prepare daily and weekly operations reports for management
- Support billing by validating trip data before invoicing
- Assist with driver onboarding requirements and document renewals
- Keep platform data (accounts, rates, service areas) accurate and up to date
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, dispatch, logistics coordination, or customer service
- Bachelor's degree in any field (Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or IT is a plus)
- Comfortable working in web-based systems and spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and Filipino
- Organized under pressure, with good judgment on what to escalate and when
- Willing to work onsite, six days a week, and to be reachable for urgent operational issues
- Startup-ready: comfortable with changing processes and wearing multiple hats
Nice to have
- Experience in trucking, courier, freight forwarding, or last-mile delivery
- Familiarity with dispatch or fleet management software
- Basic understanding of Philippine transport regulations and permits
