Job Summary
The Permitting and Compliance Officer is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and maintaining regulatory permits, licenses, and compliance requirements necessary for mining operations. The role serves as the primary liaison with government agencies, local government units (LGUs), regulatory bodies, and internal departments to ensure timely submission of reports, permit renewals, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Management, Business Administration, Environmental Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Preferably experienced in regulatory compliance, government permitting, stakeholder coordination, and compliance monitoring within mining, construction, environmental, or project-based operations.
- Strong knowledge of records management, compliance reporting, permit tracking, regulatory monitoring, and inter-agency coordination, including government regulations and permitting processes.
- Familiarity with environmental and operational compliance requirements, corporate governance practices, and regulatory documentation is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with government agencies, LGUs, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in mining projects and familiarity with permits and requirements involving MGB, DENR, EMB, NCIP, LGUs, and other regulatory agencies is highly desirable.
- Willing to work in Labo, Camarines Norte, Philippines
