About the Role

You'll own the numbers end-to-end — from invoices and reconciliations to reporting and compliance — making sure the business always has a clear financial picture.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

• Process supplier and client invoices
• Manage AP/AR ledgers and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances

Bank Transactions & Reconciliation

• Process daily bank transactions
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Monitor and track cash flow movements

Financial Reporting & Analysis Support

• Prepare financial and management reports
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support financial analysis and reporting requirements

Financial Records Management & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and complete financial records
• Ensure transactions are properly classified and recorded
• Support compliance with accounting standards and reporting deadlines

Systems & Process Support

• Maintain accounting systems and financial data
• Support process improvements and workflow efficiency
• Assist with finance-related system updates and tasks

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Readiness and Digital Enablement

• Maintain baseline AI literacy and use approved AI tools responsibly, in line with company policies, data privacy, information security, and client confidentiality obligations
• Apply sound judgment by validating outputs and avoiding overreliance, ensuring accuracy and accountability in all work delivered
• Participate in AI readiness trainings and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement through automation and responsible AI integration

What Will Make You Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 2 years experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or general accounting
• CPA/CA certifications are advantageous
• Hands-on experience with accounting platforms such as MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or SAP, along with working knowledge of Excel
• Basic understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and accounting principles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
